Lord John Gray
Although Lord John Gray came to the shelter as a stray, he must have belonged to someone at some point because he is a friendly, sociable boy. Lord John is about 2 years old. He has been neutered and he is current with vaccinations. Lord John likes petting and being next to you. He might tolerate another cat, but he would probably be happy as an only cat.
Lord John Gray is Sponsored by Ava Cocuzzo.
Emmie - adoption pending
Emmie is the sweetest girl! She is a spayed female who was surrendered because of a change in her home. She is an indoor cat who was the only cat in the home. Although she lived with very young children, she was a bit stressed by their activity. Older children would be OK. In her former home Emmie enjoyed petting, laps, and sleeping in bed with her owner. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and has never been aggressive.
Emmie is 12 years old; therefore, her senior adoption fee is reduced to $150.
Emmie is Sponsored by Marie Maguire.
Yahtzee - adoption pending
Tiny Yahtzee came to the shelter with two other cats. She is reportedly good with children and some other cats. She loves attention and being with people. Yahtzee is one year old. She is current with vaccinations, microchipped, and she has an appointment to be spayed.
Yahtzee is Sponsored by the Leemon Family.
Duchess
Nine year old Duchess had lived all of her life with one owner, until that owner passed away. Coming to a shelter was so traumatic for Duchess that she moved into a foster home with a volunteer.
It took a while for Duchess to settle in, but now that she feels comfortable and secure she looks for attention and loves to be petted. Although she is not yet a lap cat, she does like sitting next to people she knows.
Duchess needs a quiet home with an owner who can be patient while Duchess adjusts to a new environment. She has not lived with children, dogs, or other cats.
Duchess is spayed, microchipped, and current with vaccinations.
Duchess is not at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting or adopting her, email adopt@mansfieldshelter.org to request an application.
Munchkin and Hashbrown - Best of Friends
Munchkin (gray) and Hashbrown (orange/white) were brought to the shelter after they were found living in a warehouse where they were being fed and cared for by a worker. They were extremely shy and withdrawn when they came in November. Since then, they have made a lot of progress in trusting people and becoming more social, but they will need a quiet home with a patient owner who is willing to work with them as they adjust to a new environment and continue to learn to feel comfortable with people.
Both cats are neutered males who are current with vaccinations.
Munchkin and Hashbrown must be adopted together. The adoption fee will be significantly reduced for this pair.
Munchkin and Hashbrown have an Anonymous Sponsor.
