Tommie
Tommie is a very sweet, calm, gentle, nine year old, short haired boy. He was surrendered with Penny when their owner passed away. Both cats were well loved and cared for.
Tommie is Sponsored by Lauren.
Penny
Penny is a tortoiseshell Maine Coon who is fifteen years old. She and Tommie were surrendered together when their owner passed away. Both cats were well loved and cared for. Like Tommie, Penny is quiet, calm, and gentle. Her front paw has an old injury, but that doesn’t keep her from getting around.
Penny is Sponsored by Ava Cocuzzo.
Fanta
Fanta, and his black and white brother P.J., were surrendered together when their owner had to move. Fanta and P.J. got along well together, but they can be adopted separately.
In his former home Fanta was an affectionate and mellow indoor cat. He enjoyed petting, laps, and sleeping in bed with his owner. At the shelter, Fanta goes up to volunteers and visitors, looking for attention and petting. He’s a people-oriented cat.
Fanta and P.J. are ten year old neutered males who are current with vaccinations.
Fanta is Sponsored by Maddy and Sammie.
P.J.
P.J. shares the same qualities as his buddy Fanta. Both are affectionate, mellow cats who enjoyed petting and sleeping in bed with their owner, who moved and couldn’t keep them. P.J. is very shy at the shelter. He will need a home with a patient owner who will coax him into being relaxed and confident. But even at the shelter, PJ enjoys being petted and getting attention. P.J. and Fanta get along well and could go home together, or separately. P.J. is ten years old, neutered, and current with vaccinations.
PJ is Sponsored In Memory of Mischief, Tigger, and Peanut.
Lilly
When Lilly first came to the shelter she was an unhappy girl, suffering from a torn ligament. But as she recovered and felt better, she has become an affectionate, lovable cat who head-butts and enjoys petting and attention. Lilly is eight years old, and medium-haired. She will be a lovely pet for someone.
Lilly is Sponsored by Beth Wheeler.
Markie
“I am very vocal but it’s not because I’m angry. I want attention and I like to be petted and brushed. Just go slow with me as I am still nervous with sudden movements near me. At my foster Mom’s, I liked to look out the window, sleep in the sun, and share her office chair with her while she worked. I would even get in her lap sometimes. And I was only there for 5 days because I was ready to meet people at the shelter. I’m a very sweet boy once you get to know me.”
Markie came to the shelter as a stray. When he first came in he was not very happy, but his true personality appeared when he went to a foster home for a few days. Markie is a young male. He has been neutered, and he is current with vaccinations.
Markie is Sponsored by the Leemon Family.
Bell - adoption pending
Bell, who was abandoned when her owner moved, has been at the shelter since the end of February, and she really wants someone to give her a loving home of her own. Bell would be ideal for someone who is looking for a quiet, older cat, and who can give her a home where there are no young children, or other cats. Although Bell has a playroom to herself, she is probably not happy at the shelter, and she can be unpredictable. Sometimes she is feisty, but she can also be sweet, seek attention, and rub against you. She loves to chase a laser light. Bell is 11 years old, current with vaccinations, and she is spayed.
Bell is Sponsored by
Chris White and Lisa and Nick Deshaies.
