Cricket
Hi there!
Ben and I adopted Cricket (now named Billie) a little over a month ago. And wow, she is a totally different cat! She has become a total cuddlebug. She follows us around and loves to be pet. She also has her daily biscuit making sessions 😂. Billie has become such a friendly and loving companion. She truly turned into a new cat once she settled in. And wow is she vocal! She walks around meowing all the time lol. She is a true sweetheart and we are so happy to have her as the newest member of our little family. This is a psa to give the shy and scared shelter kitties a chance to shine!

Hi!
We decided to rename Future to Rainbow. He's just as wonderful and affectionate as we thought he'd be. Thank you for allowing us to adopt him. He's going to be a spoiled kitty!

Lumi (formally known as Lugnut) is doing great! She had no problems settling in and has been a joy since we brought her home. Sylvie (our other cat) has no idea what to make of her, but they are coexisting well. We love her so much and she is doing just fine.

Spark Plug and Clank
Dear Mansfield Animal Shelter volunteers,
Adopting Olive and Willow (formerly Spark Plug and Clank) was one of the best decisions we have ever made. These sisters are incredibly affectionate, adventurous, and outgoing. In just one short week, they have already explored every nook and cranny of our apartment.
It is such a joy to watch them play and cuddle, and we look forward to many more years of wonderful memories with them.

Mousepad
Murphy (formerly Mousepad) has settled in very nicely. He loves his morning zoomies followed by a nap in my arms. He is great with my grandchildren too and loves all the attention.
Murphy had a great visit to the vet and is in excellent condition! He was definitely the star patient!
He recently discovered his reflection in the window and reached out to touch it !
I could not be happier and I am sure he feels the same !!

Sharpie and Paperclip
They are adjusting so well! They have found some favorite sunny spots in the house and really are coming out of their shells. They love cuddles and play time equally.
They're slowly becoming more curious about Summit, our dog, who is beyond excited to gain some new friends. Ember, formerly Paperclip, loves darting in and out of a gate to play with the dog while Ash, formerly Sharpie, enjoys lording over Summit from the back of a tall chair.
Our family feels complete with the addition of these two sweeties. Thank you so much! 💓

Kiku and Chippy
Hello,
I adopted two little kitties with you guys a couple of years ago, Kiku and Chippy. Now they are not kitties anymore, but still our babies, and we ended up changing their names to Francesca and Edmund. I am very grateful to you guys for giving our family the chance to have these two with us. They light up our house and they adapted so well, that during their first week, they already behaved like they belonged here all along, and they did. We love them so much!

I wanted to send you an email about Mittens. She has really taken to our family, she is playful and loving. There are still times when she is slightly skittish, but definitely getting better. Our kids made her a cat condo out of a couple of boxes we had and she absolutely loves it! Thank you so much for picking our family to be a part of this special girl's life. Flurry and Blackout
Flurry and Blackout are doing really great!! We have since renamed Furry to Willow and Blackout to Wren. Both kittens are so fun and have been a really lovely addition to our family. Wren (blackout) took a bit longer to come up for pets and love but we’ve been taking it slow and she’s been really warming up. She loves napping next to my 3 year old during her quiet time on the couch which is so sweet, she also loves a good scratch with my nails when she’s in the mood for some lovins. Willow (flurry) continues to be so easy to love, she definitely has that main character energy and always the first one to pop out and explore something new. The two of them have such a silly and sweet dynamic and we are so happy to have them home with us. We got them a new scratching post with baskets they love to look out the window and snooze in.

Arlo is doing great! He made himself right at home from the very beginning. He is curious, playful, and very sweet. He loves to play with his toys and get lots of pets. He is starting to use a scratching post which is really nice. He just seems to really be enjoying himself.

He’s been doing great, so far, no issues and he seems to be adjusting very well. He’s loving all of his toys we got him. He also has been loving the view from the big window in our bedroom where he can watch the birds and squirrels throughout the day from the windowsill. I think all in all it’s a very good fit and we’re loving having him.

They are doing wonderfully. We renamed them Poppy (Adele) and Finn (Drakemaye). Finn is the sweetest cuddle bug ever. Just wants to be held, pet, and cuddled 24/7. I swear he purrs every minute of the day! Poppy is so much fun and a curious little girl, she definitely runs the show around here and especially loves her play and cuddle time with my son. Seeing them bond so fast has been so special. Both of them have settled in great with our family and sleep in our bed with us! They really are awesome little kitties and I have been so impressed with how fast they settled in and made this place theirs.

Stefon has been great really adapted to my house quickly and is well loved by all my family and friends. I have renamed him Tonks after a Harry Potter character. I He loves to snuggle with me at night. Thank you for all of your well wishes and help

Hi there, Mansfield Shelter - I promised I would give updates on Opal!
She is continuing to settle in at her own pace, and we are seeing really encouraging signs. She has claimed a couple of cozy spots downstairs and moves between them when she feels comfortable. Seeing her relaxed enough to sleep deeply has meant so much to us.
One of the most joyful moments so far has been catching her on our pet camera playing with toys when she thinks no one is watching. She was tossing them around, bouncing, and even barking . It made us so happy to see that playful side come out. It feels like her personality is starting to shine through.
She and Mellow are doing well together. When she first arrived, he would go out of his way to check on her and move back and forth between rooms to see how she was doing. Now they spend time in the same spaces comfortably. Opal mostly observes him and takes everything in, and all of their interactions have been calm and appropriate.
She takes treats gently from our hands and allows full-body pets, which feels like a huge sign of trust. We are so proud of her. We are keeping things calm and predictable and letting her build confidence at her own speed.
Thank you again for caring for her and for trusting us with her. We love her already and feel very lucky she is here.

Betty is doing great! She is eating, drinking and soaking up our love! She is definitely comfortable and purring a lot! Thank you so much for letting us adopt her, she is a love!

Lucky Charm
Lucky is adjusting very quickly. Her personality has blossomed since bringing her home. She is so friendly and affectionate, and loves getting attention. We've learned that her favorite toy by far is the toy mouse, and she also loves getting belly rubs.
We are very slowly introducing Lucky to Zelda, and every day is better and better. We are confident that the two will adjust to each other in no time.

Kimi is doing great!! (I changed her name to Sabrina). She is so playful and affectionate. She has met Winston and they love each other! It was hard keeping them apart because they wanted to be together from the start. They play well together and I even caught them cuddling together! I think Winston enjoys teaching her cat things. She has lots of toys, 2 cat towers, and a hammock on the window that she likes to lay in. She liked watching the snow this weekend!
